Economy and jobs

The Eco-Vallée operation has strong ambitions for the economic development of this territory, and more broadly, for the whole French Riviera. The Plaine du Var is already marked by an intense economic activity in terms of companies and jobs, from sectors such as construction and public works, to industrial activities in the industrial zone of Carros, to the logistics park of Saint Isidore. The area’s dynamics will be considerably boosted by the operation of national interest. Such large scale infrastructures as the future exhibition park will serve not only as a tool for local businesses, but help increase business tourism as well.

The focus on « sustainable development » constitutes both a new challenge for the existing companies, as well as a driving force which will favor innovation and help create new jobs.

This innovation can be seen, as of now, among the initiatives regarding energy, and will be further showcased within the EcoCité Nice Côte d’Azur, which is set to be the avant-garde in this matter.
