A territorial project

Two key documents lay the guidelines for the Eco-Vallée, the Territorial Project which presents the strategy of the operation and the Partnership Protocol, detailing the engagement of all partners involved.

The Territorial Project is the Eco-Vallée’s founding document, elaborated through extensive reflections and consultations. It was validated by the Administrative Council of the Public Urban Development Agency (EPA) Plaine du Var, in December 2011, and defines the strategic principles defined to ensure the sustainable development of the area.

Alongside the Territorial Project, a financial Partnership Protocol has been established, which details the commitments between the EPA Plaine du Var and the financial partners of the operation of national interest: the State, the PACA Region, the Alpes-Maritimes department, the city of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolis.

This protocol defines the responsibilities and the joint commitment by all partners involved to ensure the financial balance of the actions scheduled up till 2026.
